Downtown Louisiana Tamale Shop is the culmination of dedication, perseverance, and a deep-rooted tradition. Our journey began with my grandmother's hot tamale recipe, perfected in 1968 in Lake Providence Louisiana. Inspired by my mother and grandmother, who sold tamales from the trunks of their cars, motivated me to take the tradition further. 

Located in North Las Vegas, our hot tamale shop pays homage to the southern tradition of hot tamales that resonates in the hearts of many.  Hearing the words “Hot tamales” evokes nostalgia, memories of the mesmerizing flavors of ground meats, spices, soft corn meal, and savory juices. A flavor profile that is both unmatched and highly sought after.
